Questions
What is an ATS?
An applicant tracking system is the software many employers use to collect and sort applications. It reads the text of your resume, so clear section headings, plain wording and real details help it — and the recruiter reading after it.
What does this checker look at?
Contact details, a summary, how many jobs and bullets you list, whether bullets open with what you did, real numbers, filler phrases like "responsible for", education, skills, certifications, unfilled [X] blanks and overall length. The same checks power the live score in the Strevit builder.
Is my resume stored or sent anywhere?
No. The check runs entirely in your browser. The PDF or text you give it is not uploaded, saved or sent to any server.
Does a high score guarantee I pass a company’s ATS?
No. Every employer’s system is configured differently. The score is an estimate based on common practice — use it to find gaps, not as a promise.
